When a baby is laying in a standard crib, Miku is optimized for a position above the crib 60 inches from the floor.
Will Miku still work if my baby is wearing a onesie or a swaddle?
Miku will work in any clothes your baby is wearing and at any sleeping position in a crib. Blankets, covers, or clothing will not prevent Miku from working.
Will Miku work in low light conditions?
Miku features advanced night vision optics and can read breathing waveforms even in total darkness.
When should I begin using my Miku baby monitor?
We recommend you begin to use your Miku baby monitor when your baby is sleeping in a crib. Please note, Miku works best when your baby is sleeping alone in a crib.
Is WiFi required for my Miku baby monitor to work?
Miku requires WiFi connectivity to send you alerts, notifications, and other important messages; however, Miku’s core functions process locally and will continue to collect data for a short time. That data will be accessible when WiFi connection is re-established.

Your Miku baby monitor is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, cure, treat, alleviate or prevent any disease or health condition or investigate, replace or modify any physiological process. You are responsible for the health and wellbeing of your baby and following safe sleep, health, and care guidelines.
What happens when I take my baby out of the crib?
When your baby is removed from the crib and no longer within range, your Miku baby monitor will begin to notify you of “no movement” detected.
Can I control the alert settings?
Yes, you can toggle the alerts on/off from the settings tab on the home screen of your Miku app.
Where do the alerts appear and how do they sound?
When an alert is triggered, based on your Miku alert settings, your smartphone may receive a push notification and/or a sound alert from the Miku app. These alerts cannot override your smartphone’s settings.
How does my Miku baby monitor alert me if my smartphone is on silent or notifications are turned off?
The Miku app is always defaulted your smartphone’s settings and cannot override it. If you want to hear your Miku app alerts, you must turn your smartphone’s sound on.
Is everything controlled on my smartphone?

Does my smartphone have to be on 24/7?
Your smartphone does not need to be on for your Miku baby monitor to work; however, your smartphone will need to be on for you to receive real-time alerts and use the Miku app.
Does my family/sitter watching my baby need the Miku app too?
Anyone who wants to view your baby with a Miku baby monitor will need to download the Miku app for access. NOTE: You control who gets access privileges from your Miku app.
